Linear Feeders
Feeding in a straight line
There are two reasons why you may need a linear feeder be it a Vibratory or a conveyor type.
One reason maybe you need to get the parts from the bowl or sorting system to you pick position.
Secondly your feed rate may require a large reservoir of parts ready to go, so the system can keep up with your requirements. We again decide on the approach based on the system requirements, from there we can design and configure the system to work in harmony with the rest of the system/cell. We commonly add build back sensors to the linear track that will stop the bowl feeding if the linear track builds parts back, this stops the bowl trying to overfill the linear track, and in turn saves energy and air (if used).
We have our own range of linear drives, and have the ability to design and build bespoke conveyors if a standard conveyor system cannot be used.

We will also specify any sensors whether they be for build back or part in position. Conveyors come with Motors, Gearboxes and controls as required.
